Employee Attendance (ETAC)

Timekeepers,

Beginning July 1, 2025, all employee attendance will be managed using ETAC, our new attendance and timekeeping system. This transition marks a significant step toward streamlining and modernizing attendance tracking district-wide. Once ETAC is fully implemented, timekeepers will no longer enter data into legacy systems — attendance information will flow directly through ETAC for review and processing.

During this transition, it's crucial to verify attendance data in ETAC and report any discrepancies to the ITS Application Helpdesk at xHELP (x4357) or by submitting a ticket via the ITS Helpdesk System under the appropriate category (Software > ETAC)

Training & Support

Attendance at one of the ETAC training sessions is strongly recommended.
ITS, HR, Payroll, and OM teams will be available during scheduled office hours on August 7 for additional support.
Ongoing assistance is available during business hours through the ITS Application Helpdesk.

Q: With ETAC, will staff be able to submit digital timesheets as well as their own attendance?

A: Yes. While timesheets are not part of this first phase, staff will eventually be able to submit OT/timesheets, review and verify attendance, and see their balances online! Stay tuned for phase II.

Q: When will I start inputting Attendance?

A: Timekeepers will be given access to enter data for staff at their site on or before July 1, 2025 to be submitted in early August. Workshops at the beginning of August will assist with any issues during submission. This is an aggressive timeline, but we have a motivated team committed to ensuring its success and a vendor with an excellent track record.

Q: Will we still have to enter teacher attendance in both Frontline (AESOP) and ETAC (like we did in the VAX)?

A: Yes. At this current moment Frontline and ETAC do not "speak" to each other.
