Transitional Kindergarten
Welcome to the Pomona Unified School District!
To enroll in Transitional Kindergarten for the 2026 - 2027 school year your child’s date of birth must fall between September 2, 2021 - September 1, 2022.

Transitional Kindergarten, TK Enrollment Process
Please complete a TK Interest Form to be placed on our District TK Enrollment Waitlist. Once the TK Interest Form is approved by the Office of Elementary Education, families will be contacted by their School of placement beginning Monday, February 23, 2026. At that time, the School Office will provide the next steps for completing enrollment.

Items to Complete before Enrollment; please ensure your child has all the following required documentation ready:
Proof of Birth
- Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, or Passport
Verification of Residence
(A driver's license does not qualify for proof of residency)
- Property tax payment receipts
- Rent payment receipts
- Utility payment receipts
Immunization Records
(The record must show the month and year of each dose)
- Polio (4 doses)
- Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (5 doses)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) (2 doses)
- Hepatitis B (3 doses)
- Varicella (2 doses)
