Transitional Kindergarten

Welcome to the Pomona Unified School District!
Kindergarten: To enroll in Kindergarten, your child must be five years old by September 1st of the year he/she enrolls.

Transitional Kindergarten: To enroll in Transitional Kindergarten, your child must be four years old by September 1st of the year he/she enrolls.

  • Roosevelt Elementary (Opening in August for the 2024-25 school year)
  • San Jose Elementary School
  • Vejar Elementary School
  • Washington Elementary School
 
Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kinder Enrollment Process 
(If you are enrolling in Kinder please go to Step 2)
Step 1: Complete TK Interest Form (This will place student on District TK Waiting List)

Please complete a TK Interest Form to be placed on our Priority Enrollment Wait List. Once the TK Interest Form is completed, a Site Office Manager will contact you to complete enrollment. If you have any questions, please call (909) 397- 4465 for further assistance.

YOU ARE STILL REQUIRED TO FILL OUT A PRE-ENROLLMENT RECORD FOR  YOUR CHILD.

 
Step 2: Complete Online Enrollment with link below
 
School Office Manager will reach out to family and request they bring the following documents to the school site:
 
Proof of Birth: 
  • Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, or Passport
Verification of Residence: 
  • Property tax payment receipts
  • Rent payment receipts
  • Utility payment receipts
    (Driver's license does not qualify for proof of residency)
Immunization Records: (Record must show the month and year of each dose.)
  • Polio (4 doses)
  • Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (5 doses)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) (2 doses)
  • Hepatitis B (3 doses)
  • Varicella (1 dose)
