What is TLC - The Learning Connection

The Learning Connection (TLC) Program Offers:

  • Credentialed Intervention Teachers
  • A safe place to have fun and enjoy friends after school
  • Time to work on homework
  • Enrichment activities that reinforce skills learned during the regular school day
  • Activities to build self esteem and social skills
  • After school snacks
  • Recreational activities


The program runs from the end of the school day until 6:00 p.m. every regular school day and now includes intersession and summer. 

We currently have approximately 3,000 students participating at 24 school sites throughout the district. The TLC Expanded Learning Program is available to all TK-6th grade students free of charge. 

Families interested in participating in the TLC Expanded Learning Program must complete the required interest form.
