Career Readiness Department Home Page

Welcome to the Career Readiness Department! 

The Career Readiness Department is composed of Adult Career Education, Career Centers, Career Technical Education, College, Career and Workforce Development Task Force, and the San Antonio Regional Occupational Program.

We offer a rigorous academic program that is blended with hands-on experience.  Career Technical education is offered to high school students as well as adults through our various programs.  Our San Antonio Regional Occupational Program offers fee based classes after school for high school students. Through our College and Career Task force we have dozens of community partners who  collaborate with the purpose of helping students enter college, careers and the workforce.  

Our goal is to provide the most access, exposure, and education to all PUSD students in high interest, high paying, and high demand careers of the 21st Century.
