Title IX

The Pomona Unified School District prohibits discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and bullying based on actual or perceived nationality, ancestry, color, race, immigration status, age, disability, sex, (including sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, childbirth, breast-feeding, and pregnancy-related medical conditions), religion, parental status, family and/or marital and/or registered domestic partner status, political belief or affiliation, or association with a person or a group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics, or any other basis protected by federal, state, or local law, ordinance, or regulation in any program or activity it conducts or to which it provides significant assistance. This nondiscrimination policy applies to all acts related to school activity or school attendance within a school under the jurisdiction of the Superintendent of Pomona Unified School District, and covers admission, participation, and accessibility to any program or activity of the district as well as selection, advancement, discharge and other terms, conditions and privileges of employment.
