The Learning Connection (TLC)
Offering Student-Centered, Hands-On Activities in an Extended School Format
The Learning Connection (TLC) Program Offers:
- Credentialed Intervention Teachers
- A safe place to have fun and enjoy friends after school
- Time to work on homework
- Enrichment activities that reinforce skills learned during the regular school day
- Activities to build self esteem and social skills
- After school snacks
- Recreational activities
We currently have approximately 2,000 students participating at 24 school sites throughout the district. The TLC Program is offered free of charge. There are a limited number of spaces available at each TLC Program school site. Participation in the TLC Program requires that parents/guardians complete the enrollment and emergency forms before their student can attend the program. For more information or to pick up your enrollment packet, please go to the school office or call and ask for the TLC Program Teacher.
