SPRING MESSAGE – COMMUNITY 2019
Spring is the season of rebirth and renewal. As the 2018-19 school year starts to close, let us all renew our commitment to kindness and appreciation for one another. Our schools teach our students English, math, and science, but equally important, we teach the importance of appreciating all that those around us contribute toward making our lives richer each and every day.
None of us can do it alone. We all depend on each other. Just as we teach our children to value those around them, we should take a moment to value the family members and friends who help us throughout the year. Whether it is just a word of welcome or a moment of kindness, we all need encouragement now and then.
Let us give our children an extra word of praise. Let those you work with know that you appreciate all that they do. Let us give the very best of ourselves to our family. We should recommit ourselves to the goals of kindness and generosity toward everyone we meet.
I appreciate everything that our community and families do for our teachers, students, and schools. You have generously supported our classrooms by volunteering your time and effort and I want you to know that our teachers and principals deeply value your support. You are our children’s first teachers and our schools cannot succeed without you.
The Pomona Unified School District, our teachers and staff sincerely thank you for all that you do.
