EL Master Plan Updates

Starting in the fall of the 2021 school year Pomona Unified School district began the process of revising and re-writing our English/Multilingual Learner Master Plan. PUSD  entered into a consulting agreement with the Center for Equity for English Learners, commonly known as the CEEL Center which is housed in the Loyola Marymount School of Education.  The CEEL Center is led by Dr. Elvira Armas and Dr. Magaly Lavandez who are well known for their expertise and leadership in the field of English Learner Programs and policies.  As partners, the CEEL Center and Pomona Unified will collaborate with all educational partners to develop an English/Multilingual Learner Master Plan that is aligned to the English Learner Roadmap and ensures the implementation of rigorous and equitable programs and policies for all English/Multilingual Learners in PUSD.
