Thank you to everyone who joined us for the September 9, 2026 Pomona Unified School District Board Meeting! We were proud to celebrate our students and the rich cultures that make our PUSD community so special.
The evening featured a beautiful Pomona High School Folklórico Dance Performance, along with a presentation by Dr. Kathrine Morillo-Shone celebrating Filipino Heritage Month. We also heard from a Ranch Hills student, who shared an update on Filipino Heritage Month and the importance of the Tinikling dance.
We were especially proud to recognize P3 – Proudly Pinoy/Pinay in PUSD: Honoring Filipino Heritage Through Tinikling Dance, featuring Diamond Ranch High School students and Principal Dr. Mark Gomez.
A special thank-you to our wonderful JROTC students from Ganesha High School and all the student performers, presenters, families, staff, and everyone who came out to support our Board Meeting. Your energy, talent, and pride make our PUSD community stronger! 💙
