The team, led by Pomona High's esports coaches, included members from the yearbook, GATE program, and the Red Zone News broadcast team. They tested around 15 out of 80 final gaming projects, offering valuable insights to the graduate designers. With an acceptance rate of less than 10%, the program attracts approximately 400 applicants each year, allowing students to learn from top professors in the field.
We had a great time and were invited back in the spring to see the final projects. We’re hoping to attend!
