Alcott Elementary - Cops 4 Kids Program End of Year Graduation
Each year, Pomona Unified is proud to witness the remarkable dedication and determination of our students who participate in the Cops 4 Kids Program. This unique initiative pairs students with local law enforcement officers to foster positive relationships, build leadership skills, and develop a strong sense of community. Throughout the year, students engage in a variety of activities, from hands-on learning experiences to community service projects, all while gaining valuable life skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
The highlight of this program is the end-of-year graduation ceremony, which serves as a powerful reminder of the hard work and growth these students experience. The ceremony is nothing short of inspiring, as families, educators, and officers come together to celebrate the achievements of the students. It’s a moment of pride for both the students and the community, showcasing not just academic success, but personal growth, resilience, and the spirit of collaboration.
The Cops 4 Kids Program continues to be a shining example of how community partnerships can make a lasting impact on the lives of our students. Each year, we look forward to watching these young individuals transform into confident leaders, ready to take on whatever challenges lie ahead.
We are incredibly proud of the Alcott students who complete the program, and we thank our local law enforcement partners for their continued support in helping shape a brighter future for the youth of Pomona.
