Pantera Elementary’s Kindness Club Volunteers Help Decorate Rose Parade Floats
During the Winter Break, members of Pantera Elementary’s Kindness Club took their dedication to service beyond the classroom, volunteering their time to decorate Rose Parade floats. Several families came together to lend a helping hand, showcasing their commitment to spreading kindness and supporting their community in a truly special way.
One of the standout moments from this volunteer effort was the decoration of the Kaiser Permanente float, which ultimately won the prestigious Wrigley Legacy Award for excellence. The Wrigley Legacy Award is given to a float that demonstrates extraordinary creativity, design, and attention to detail, and it’s no surprise that Pantera’s Kindness Club volunteers played a part in making this award-winning float come to life.
The volunteers worked tirelessly alongside professional designers and other community members, bringing vibrant flowers, intricate details, and stunning visual elements to the float. Their efforts were a testament to the importance of teamwork, dedication, and the spirit of giving back. By participating in this annual tradition, the Kindness Club members not only contributed to a national event but also gained valuable insights into the behind-the-scenes work that goes into creating one of the most iconic celebrations in the country.
The Pantera Elementary Kindness Club continues to encourage students and families to engage in acts of service, reminding them that even small efforts can make a big difference. By participating in the Rose Parade float decoration, the Kindness Club has once again demonstrated how powerful kindness can be when we work together to achieve a common goal.
