Hi STEAMLeads,

Great joblast week getting all the teams playing on time and reporting the scores. Ourspeaker scheduled for today is not feeling well, so she will talk to thestudents next Monday. For today, we have a real rockstar. Here is her bio:

Megan Bennett is an Electrical Design Engineer at Blue Originsupporting the NASA Artemis Lunar Lander. She recently sent her first spacecraft, a star tracking camera on a satellite, through Scout Space in March 2024on the Transporter-10 SpaceX mission. She got her start in the Aerospace Sectorthough an Experimental Aviation Program called Vanilla Uncrewed, a hyper longendurance UAV that holds a world record for unrefueled flight at 8 days, 50 minutes and 45 seconds.Outside of engineering, Megan has spent 8+ years in the Space Nonprofit sectorleading SEDS-USA and the Space Frontier Foundation to a more equitable anddiverse community through dozens of projects. She is deeply passionate aboutinspiring and supporting future generations. Megan earned her Electrical Engineering degree from VirginiaTech.
