Hi STEAMLeads,

I wanted tolet you know that our next Speaker Series is scheduled for Monday, 12/18, at3:45 pm. The format will be a Q and A for the first 35 minutes, then wewill open it up to questions from you and the students. Hopefully, the studentswill be engaged. Encourage them to ask questions. Remind the students that they get an extra raffle ticketfor attending. If you are having the students watch it from yourclassroom, please track who was there and let us know.

Bio for theSpeaker

Mike Domaguing is Head of Partnerships andPublishing at Survios, a Los Angeles-based virtual reality game developer andpublisher dedicated to pushing the limits of VR innovation both in-home and inthe location-based entertainment market. He oversees all strategic partnershipefforts alongside the company’s growing product portfolio of both Surviostitles and third-party experiences. A gaming industry veteran of over20 years, Mr. Domaguing brings with him an extensive background in digitalmedia and entertainment. His marketing accomplishments exist across such diverseproperties as Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, Dead or Alive, Yar’s Revenge, NinjaGaiden, Hasbro’s Game of Life, Clue, and Scrabble, among countless others.

We have heard from several students that they didnot know about any of the speakers. Please remember it is your responsibilityto tell them about the speakers and encourage them to watch it.

This is thefinal speaker series. We hope the students learned a lot about how to use theirgaming skills to change the world.
