African American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC)

The mission of AAPAC is to raise the level of awareness about culturally sensitive issues relating to the education of African American students; support a system of cultural acceptance, and educational equity for all students, regardless of race, and socio-economic status; increase academic performance, and to provide the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to increase the engagement of parents, care-caregivers, and the community.

Thank you to all that attended the PABSE/AAPAC Black History Celebration that took place on February 23, 2023 at the Village Conference Center. The theme of this year’s celebration was STILL. WE. RISE. Great job to the student performers from Madison Elementary, Vejar, Pomoma High School and the Rising Scholars Saturday Academy.
