Financial aid consists of funds provided to students and families to help pay for postsecondary educational expenses.
Aid can come from:
- The U.S. federal government
- The state in which you live in
- The college you attend
- A nonprofit or private organization

- October 1, 2021 - The 2022-2023 applications will be available
- March 2, 2022, is the deadline for Cal Grant consideration

- Create an FSA ID Account
- Complete the FAFSA
- Received by colleges
- File Completion
- Financial Aid Award
- Apply to scholarships
What is the do you need to complete the Financial Aid application?
- Social Security Numbers for FAFSA or,
CADAA- DACA SSN (leave blank if you don’t have one) - Parents 2021 Income information (1040s, W-2s, other records of money earned)
- 2020 Records of any untaxed income.
