Avoiding Scholarship Scams
 
Students and parents, do not pay for advice for scholarship opportunities.
Many scams are targeted toward families who are not familiar with the process and who are 1st generation students, low-income, or athletics.
Parents always want the best opportunities and think that these scammers are professionals.
If you pay for scholarship opportunities, then it may be a scam.

When applying for scholarship opportunities for which you must write an essay, please use tutor.com's "Submit a Paper for Review" tool ahead of time to get feedback. The PDF is below.
